Have a look at the photo above. What do you see? - Light. Lots of it. From the setting sun, and from the oncoming cars. Had I turned the other way that evening, the photo would have been one of shadows (and larger-than-life shadows at that time of the day). One that focused on the cold winter day, and a quite dreary atmosphere. Instead, I deliberately chose to soak in and capture the light. Because it helps me deal with the cold and snow and the shorter days. And I believe that focusing on the light, no matter where we are at the moment, and no matter what challenges or problems we are facing actually helps us. Speeds up the process, and makes integrating our shadows easier and a happier and healthier endeavor.
My focus on the light doesn't mean I wasn't wearing a warm jacket, boots, gloves and a hat. Oh, I was, trust me!!! Wearing a bikini and going barefoot in that scenario would have been ridiculous, bordering on suicidal.
Focusing on the light doesn't mean I was/am ignoring the circumstances. On the contrary. All it means is that I made a conscious decision of where to put my focus. On shifting my perspective until I could love the situation and love myself in it. After all, my ultimate goal is full healing, and a beautiful, easy life with lots of love, light and happiness in all ways. And I know the only way to get there is to keep my eye on the prize. Firmly so. As long as I am honest with myself about the challenges I am facing and want to overcome, and then get to work keeping the quantum physical rules in mind and applying them for maximum effect in my life, there is nothing wrong about not blasting my hardship all over the globe via social media or my blog. It actually takes a shitload of discipline and work on myself to run the way I do, and to consciously control my energy in every situation that I enter. Again, my eye is firmly on the prize. Love. Light. Full healing.
And that is the same reason you won't find primarily black, grey or dreadful imagery on this website. Take a look, you'll find lots of sunny photos and vibrant colors. With me being an energy healer, that's almost a given (or should be, at least). Why? Because energy healing is about raising our vibration to be able to channel unconditional love at all times, and therefore attract exactly that and the corresponding lifestyle to ourselves. Mind you, that is no mean feat - too much light (love) can kill you, after all. That is, if you're unprepared physically and mentally (read more about the double-edged sword of energy, resonance and LoA here).
Keeping my eye on the prize is why I don't bore you with the umpteenth rant about everything that has been going wrong in my life since I was born. What would be the point of that? Spreading pain? When really, I want to live in a more loving world??? Could I be any more counterproductive to reaching my goal than spreading pain when I want love?
I get that it is very important for all of us to feel and know that we are not alone in the pain that we experience. Yet that pain isn't something to broadcast into the world randomly. We need to be responsible about the energy we spread.
So, what options does that leave me with as a spiritual teacher and energy healer? How do I not alienate my clients who are currently experiencing a certain amount of pain that I am supposed to help them overcome? - I have chosen my path: and it is one of sharing my challenges after the fact, and with the positive resolution I have been able to find. I don't ever want to just share pain. If I do share my own pain with you on here, or in a private coaching session or FB group, and I forget to explain how I found my way back to the light, I expect you to call me on it!!!
I'm also offering daily Reiki energy boosts for those who want to get started and introduce more ease into their lives. It's a loving lift-up to support you, and works globally, over the distance. Click here for more details.
And now I'll sign this post with a statement that has earned me the misnomer of cheater before, and I proudly do it, because I know what I'm all about (what we all are ultimately all about):
LOVE & LIGHT
